Galena 2 Geothermal Power Plant is a 16.5 MW hybrid geothermal and solar photovoltaic facility located in Washoe County, Nevada. The plant, which began operating in 2007, is owned and operated by Ormat Nevada Inc. It utilizes geothermal energy as its primary fuel source and also incorporates solar photovoltaic technology.
