Crossroads Energy Center

Crossroads Energy Center is a 306.4 MW natural gas-fired power plant located in Coahoma County, Mississippi. The plant, which began operating in 2002, is owned and operated by Clarksdale Public Utilities. It consists of four natural gas-fired combustion turbine generators. Crossroads Energy Center is connected to the Midcontinent Independent Transmission System Operator, Inc. (MISO) balancing authority and resides within the SERC Reliability Corporation NERC region. The plant ranks as the 17th largest in Mississippi out of 20 plants, and 634th nationally out of 945 plants.
